Peggy C. Raker Speech Contest

The annual Peggy C. Raker Speech Contest took place last night, April 18th at the Palm Beach Gardens Campus. Representatives from each campus had 4-6 minutes to persuade the judges on their take of this year’s theme - "Going Green: Should conservation become part of the college’s mission?"

For the first time in the long history of the speech contest, a student, Kevin Laurore of the Palm Beach Gardens campus, served as Master of Ceremony for the event.

1st Place: Victoria Gallo from the Lake Worth Campus
2nd Place: Debra Davis from the Palm Beach Gardens Campus
3rd Place: Joshua Deese from the Belle Glade Campus
